ABOUT THE REGESH NETWORK

The Regesh Network was founded in 2014 by HaRav Yehuda Jacobs זצ״ל, Mashgiach of Beis Medrash Govoha. The Mashgiach saw a growing need for a helpline to assist members of the community struggling with sensitive issues.

Currently under the guidance of Rav Henoch Shachar שליט״א, The Regesh Network is an anonymous helpline staffed with qualified Responders. Our staff are highly trained to answer calls and provide support as well as a plan going forward. Callers are supported and guided by our staff and encouraged when appropriate to turn to their parents and Rebbeim for guidance. The responders are caring and non-judgmental and patiently provide a listening ear.

Fielding over 6,000 calls a year, The Regesh Network fills a crucial role in our community. The Mashgiach זצ״ל actively promoted the Ride4Regesh Campaign. By joining this ride, you will be helping boys and girls in need.

WELCOME TO RIDE4REGESH 2023!

Have you ever wanted to make a positive impact in your community in a fun and exciting way? Here’s your chance! Join Ride4Regesh, an annual bikeathon that raises funds for Regesh’s confidential and anonymous helpline, which provides critical guidance and mentorship to teens and young adults in need of someone to talk to. By participating, you can help ensure that this important resource remains available to those who need it most.

To sign up, simply visit Ride4Regesh.com or call 833-R4R-BIKE (747-2453) and register your son, nephew, or grandson. As a participant, you will have until July 2nd to raise funds for Regesh’s helpline. Once registered, you’ll receive a personal fundraising page that you can share with your friends and family to encourage them to support your efforts.

Even if you don’t plan to ride a bike in the event, you can still participate as an R4R Raiser and help raise funds for this important cause. On the day of the event, all participants will gather at the parking lot of the BlueClaws Stadium to celebrate their efforts and ride in the bikeathon. A bike specialist will be on hand to assist you in case of any trouble with your bike.

Regesh is an organization dedicated to supporting and helping young people who are struggling with various challenges. Their confidential and anonymous helpline is staffed with trained rabbis, educators, and mentors who are ready to provide a listening ear to teens with questions or concerns. The helpline is completely confidential and anonymous, so young people can feel safe reaching out for help.

This year marks the sixth annual Ride4Regesh event, which has grown bigger and better each year. The event will take place in the parking lot of the BlueClaws Stadium, with esteemed officials and dignitaries, including Lakewood Mayor Ray Coles and Deputy Mayor Menashe Miller, in attendance. Hatzolah, Lakewood Police, and Chaveirim will also be present, along with a bike specialist to assist any riders who may experience trouble with their bikes.

If biking isn’t your thing, you can still help by becoming an R4R Raiser and raising funds for Regesh. As a Raiser, you’ll be eligible to receive amazing prizes in return for your efforts.

By participating in Ride4Regesh, you’ll be helping to prevent young people from losing their way by providing critical guidance and mentorship to those who need it most. With over 6,000 calls annually from teens, friends of teens, and concerned parents who need counsel and direction, Regesh’s helpline is a vital resource in the community.
